Drugs |
We have devised and put into
place a drugs
policy.
Children are informed about drug mis-use and don't touch tell through the PSE curriculum, visiting theatre groups and the police, school liason officer. |

Smoking
|
We have devised and put into
place a smoking
policy.
Children are informed and learn about the health risks of smoking through the PSE curriculum, visiting theatre groups and the police, school liason officer. A smoke-signals pack is used in KS2. |

Healthy Eating
|
Healthy living and eating is taught both through the science curriculum and PSE. We will hold a healthy eating day for the whole school. Children will take part designing, preparing and presenting healthy foods. A healthy snack time policy has been devised and presented to all. The school cook has attended training courses to further promote healthy meals and a healthy diet at lunchtime. We really hope to improve the canteen environment, making it a welcoming and friendly place to enjoy a healthy lunch. |
